Who are Cranleigh Motor Club? Cranleigh Motor Club was founded over 50 years ago and is a group of people of all ages interested in competing in motorsport and motoring activities at a grass roots level. Professional Motorsport can be expensive to compete in without sponsor's etc. but in Cranleigh all our events are designed around using a standard road car with event entry fee's normally just £5 per car and a whole year's membership will cost just £8 The club can be regarded as a starting point for a career in Motor Sport, or simply a leisure activity.
What do we do? Our mission is to promote a variety of types of motor sport competitions to enable our members to enjoy well organised, safe and competitive events under the rules of the Motor Sports Association [formally part of the Royal Automobile Club (RAC)]. Click on our 'Event Information' Button to see some of our future events, then click 'Event Descriptions' to see a description of the types of event we organise.
Sounds like fun; How do I Get involved? We hold our social event 'Club Nights' on the first Thursday of every month at around 8.30pm Currently at the Three Horseshoes Public House which is in Cranleigh High Street. So come along - bring a friend who you want to team up with to 'Navigate' or 'Drive' you. Don't worry about navigational experience - we'll show you the basic's. Have a look at our 'Getting Started' pages for some useful tips on starting. |
